How it looks

A matrix with channels as columns (Email, In-app, WhatsApp, Push) and event categories as rows (Transactions, Payouts, Account, Security, Announcements). A checked box means you will be notified.

Best practices

  • Security: leave notifications enabled for security events. You can safely disable noise elsewhere.
  • Transactions: by default, email is enabled for transactions
    1000 XAF. You can raise or lower this threshold.
  • Product announcements: up to you. The content is useful for pricing / addon changes.

WhatsApp number

To receive WhatsApp notifications, you must:
  1. Verify your number in Account → Contact Details.
  2. Check the WhatsApp box in the preference matrix.
  3. Receive a confirmation message that you must accept.
Without verification, the channel stays disabled even if the box is checked.
